We have a strong commitment to sustainability in all phases of our projects.
Our buying team procures sustainably managed materials, such as sustainable timber from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We effectively manage the environmental impacts of our operation in a systematic way, not only to reduce our impact, but also to promote continual improvement.
AD Bly is certified to ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
This statement of AD Bly Environmental Policy is to be displayed, or made available, at all work places including sites and the company’s head office: Nup End Farm, Old Knebworth, Hertfordshire, SG3 6QJOur buying team procures sustainably managed materials, such as sustainable timber from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The Board of Directors will determine the organisation\'s environmental policy and ensure that its Environmental Management System will:
- Be appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services
- Include a commitment to continual improvement and prevention of pollution
- Include a commitment to comply with applicable legal requirements and with other requirements to which the organisation subscribes
- Provide frame work for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets
- Be documented
- Be communicated to all the companys staff and sub-contractors
- Be in the public domain via publication on our website
The company will endeavour to encourage our suppliers in matters affecting its environmental policy comply with the ISO 14001 standard, statutory and regulatory requirements and prevailing duties of care.
Where possible, the company will seek to influence customers in design matters impacting on its environmental policy.
In both supply chain and customer interfaces the company will play its part as appropriate in the safe disposal of waste, either by means of the principal contractor or by the regulations determined by local authorities.
The company will train all staff in EMS procedures to ensure competence in the area.
The company will monitor its EMS performance to seek to ensure continual improvement.
