NEW ADDITION TO OUR TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT

We are continuing to invest in our business and have taken delivery of a new Euro 6, 7.5T lorry.

The new vehicle was Manufactured by Isuzu Truck UK and ordered via Arlesey Car & Commercials.

Arlsey Car Commercials specialise in commercial vehicles and are unrivalled for levels of service and expertise. The body of the vehicle was fabricated by Shawtrack Serviced Ltd who specialise in bespoke builds.

We are delighted to have finally taken delivery of the vehicle, we first placed the order in early 2021. Due to the current climate we have had to wait for a build slot to come available. The vehicle itself has the latest safety equipment and has a max trailer weight of 3,500kg. With our bespoke build we have managed to utilise the weight now allowing us to move certain items of plant in one journey instead of 2. The subframe is constructed from high grade steel box section along with light weight pressed channel cross members. The deck is overlaid with lightweight, high strength 18mm Birch ply composite flooring and the ramps are aluminium.

We believe this addition to our Transport Department will make us more economical and environmentally friendly all while looking great in our company colours.
