MCLAREN – HIGH LEIGH SCHOOL, HODDESDON COMPLETION

We are pleased to announce the completion of one of our sites High Leigh Primary School in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire for McLaren Construction.
AD BLY Construction were appointed by McLaren back in January 2024 to complete the groundworks on this new primary school, holding the capacity of 420 pupils and a 30-place nursery. The project involved the construction of the new school to replace the existing Westfield Community Primary School to help serve the growing community at High Leigh, where we have been undertaking extensive works for Taylor Wimpey. Our contribution over the course of the year has included substructures, drainage retaining walls, car parks, play areas, groundworks, and all external works totalling £1.8 million.
The new High Leigh Primary School will welcome its first pupils in September 2025.
We take pride in having contributed to this work and helping shape Hertfordshire's educational future.
