CRAIG BUDGE – 2026 WORLD PIPE BAND CHAMPION

Craig Budge Crowned World Champion Again at the 2026 World Pipe Band Championships!

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our Site Manager, Craig Budge, who has once again reached the very top of the pipe band world.
On Saturday 15 August, Craig and Macanta Pipe Band took to the field in Glasgow for the 2026 World Pipe Band Championships, competing in the highly competitive Grade 3A category. After a season of hard work, dedication and countless hours of practice, Craig and the band delivered an outstanding performance to become Grade 3A World Champions!

 

This latest title adds to Craig’s already remarkable career as a drummer, which has seen him compete and succeed at the highest levels, collecting Scottish, British, European, UK and World Championship titles along the way. We’re delighted to see Craig’s commitment, determination and talent rewarded with another World Championship title. It’s a fantastic achievement and one he should be extremely proud of.
